Prospan® acute effervencent cough tablets is a cough medicine suitable for adults and children 6 years old and above. It contains the patented ivy leaves dry extract EA 575® which provides four modes of action: dissolves mucus, relaxes airways, relieves cough and anti-inflammatory. It is non-drowsy, sugar-free, alcohol-free, contains no colourings and has a pleasant taste. Prospan® is the number 1 phyto cough medicine worldwide.

Product Directions:
Adults: 1 tablet in morning, 1/2 tablet in evening
Children 6 – 12 years: 1/2 tablet 2 times daily
The effervescent tablet can be broken in halves. The tablet is dissolved in a glass of water (approx. 100-200 ml) and taken in the morning and in the evening. Both hot and cold warer may be used to dissolve the tablet.

Product Ingredients:
Active ingredient: Each effervescent tablet contains 65mg of ivy leaves dry extract (5 - 7.5 : 1) Other ingredients: anhydrous citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate, mannitol, simethicone, saccharin sodium dihydrate, acesulfame, aspartame, sodium citrate dihydrate, sorbitol, medium chain triglycerides, macrogoglycerol hydroxystearate, aroma. Each effervescent tablet contains 382mg of carbohydrates (corresponding to 0.03BU), 6.41mmol (or 147.33mg) sodium and 29.7mg of lactose.
