It has a specially designed absorbent pad which has a cushioning effect to protect the wound. The pad absorbs excess wound fluid which is important for wound healing. The nature of this dressing makes it ideal for most areas of the body, particulary near joints or areas of high movement.
Product Directions:
1. Wash hands before applying the dressing.
2. Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin gently.
3. Remove dressing from pouch.
4. Remove first half of the white backing paper.
5. Apply the dressing so that the white pad sits directly over the wound.
6. Remove the second white backing paper and press lightly down to secure the dressing to the skin. Change the dressing when the fabric is not completely sticking to the skin or blood/fluid seeps through the pad. Removing the dressing:
7. As this is an adhesive product, carefully remove the dressing, especially if skin is sensitive.
